The situation at Dobrudzha has become increasingly concerning, with the club now facing serious problems both on and off the pitch.
Ahead of last weekend’s away match against Marek in Pernik, the club was reportedly unable to organize team transportation, forcing the players and coaching staff to travel in private cars and vans. The situation has descended into complete chaos, while the club’s Board of Directors has also been dismissed, adding further uncertainty over its future.
The problems extend far beyond the administration. Dobrudzha’s players reportedly have not received their salaries since the beginning of pre-season, with accumulated wage arrears estimated at around €155,000, while outstanding social security contributions reportedly exceed €50,000.
With no clear solution to the financial crisis and players already going several months without payment, the level of instability is enormous.
On the pitch, Dobrudzha are also struggling, having lost their last three matches, while their top scorer Halachev (5/3) is suspended for this game.
Rilski Sportist have shown signs of improvement. After recording two consecutive draws, they finally secured their first victory of the season, beating Montana 2:1. That result should provide additional confidence and this looks like an excellent opportunity for them to build momentum and potentially start a mini winning streak.
