Recap
Besançon host Dijon at the Palais des Sports Ghani-Yalouz while dealing with a significant personnel crisis. Due to many injuries, coach Viennet will have only eight senior players available, leaving him with limited options. He will therefore have to rely heavily on the energy and enthusiasm of his younger players. Viennet himself acknowledged the scale of the challenge, stating that a victory would be “a huge achievement.”
Dijon boast a squad featuring players with extensive experience at the highest level. They have made a solid start to the season with a 3-0-2 record and have won their last six consecutive h2h meetings against Besançon.
