Recap
Semen Padang enters the final round of the Super League in disastrous circumstances. The club has already been officially relegated and arrives in Jakarta on an eight-match losing streak, scoring just one goal during that entire period.
The situation off the pitch is equally alarming, with players reportedly unpaid for several months. Coach Imran Nahumarury openly admitted that preparations for the match were far from ideal, revealing that the team didn’t even hold training sessions after last week’s defeat to Persebaya. Only 18 players traveled to Jakarta for the clash against Persija.
Several important players and foreigners have already left the club:
❌ Meneses (29/1)
❌ Augusto (22/0) – first goalkeeper
❌ Wakaso (23/0)
❌ Dozi (14/0)
❌ Peixoto (13/1)
❌ Diarra (13/0)
In addition, Gufron (10/0) and Kristiano (8/0) are suspended.
On the other side, Persija Jakarta enjoyed a strong season and secured 3rd place in the standings. They also come into this match in good form and highly motivated to avenge the 1-0 away defeat suffered against Semen Padang back in December 2025.
