Recap
The situation at Start Brno has become completely chaotic and the club is currently facing a deep financial and organizational crisis. Problems inside the club escalated after unpaid bonuses led most of the senior players to contact the Football Association of the Czech Republic.
Following the expiration of the deadline for salary payments, the association reportedly advised players that they had the right to terminate their contracts and ten players have already decided to leave the club. According to the management, the remaining footballers are no longer eligible to participate in official matches, leaving the squad in an extremely difficult situation.
The financial collapse is so serious that the club is allegedly refusing to cover travel expenses for away fixtures. In the previous round, Start Brno were forced to field an almost entirely youth-based lineup and suffered a humiliating 0-7 defeat against Vsetin.
The situation now looks even worse ahead of this away match. Reports suggest that players may once again need to organize travel individually, while there is also a real possibility that the game could be affected by a lack of available players.
From a betting perspective, these circumstances are impossible to ignore. Team morale appears destroyed, the squad is severely weakened and the overall instability surrounding the club creates an extremely unfavorable environment for any competitive performance.
