Recap
Five days ago, Sileks crowned their season by lifting the domestic Cup after a 1-0 victory over Shkëndija. Following the triumph, the atmosphere around the club has understandably been dominated by celebrations and with their objectives already fulfilled, coach Vasoski is expected to heavily rotate the squad and rest virtually all key starters.
A large number of important players are unavailable:
❌ Pires (30/11) – top scorer
❌ Alić (30/8) – second top scorer
❌ Buturović (30/4)
❌ Angjeleski (30/1)
❌ Djekov (30/0) – first goalkeeper
❌ Eftimov (29/1)
❌ Dodev (26/5)
❌ Delimedjac (16/0)
Makedonija Gjorče Petrov may officially be relegated, but the club still has a realistic reason to fight until the very end. There remains a possibility of retaining their top-flight status should Bashkimi be expelled from the league due to the ongoing match-fixing scandal. In order to capitalize on that scenario, Makedonija GP must finish ahead of Rabotnički, who are also relegated but currently sit two points above them in the standings.
