Recap
UTA Arad are already facing a difficult situation after a disappointing start to the season, collecting just two points from their opening five matches with a record of 0-2-3. Their problems have been further compounded by a growing injury list and limited squad depth.
Similar to their recent match against Universitatea Cluj, UTA are expected to have only 18 players available, including three goalkeepers, leaving the coaching staff with very limited options for rotation.
The injury list is particularly concerning, with Alexandru Pitu (4/0), Andrea Padula (4/0), Dmytro Pospelov (4/0), Răzvan Oaidă (1/0), Antoni Ivanov and Andrei Tolcea all unavailable. Losing this many players from an already limited squad could become a major issue, particularly as the season begins to intensify.
UTA will also lack a genuine home advantage. Corvinul are using Arena Francisc Neuman in Arad as their home venue, meaning UTA will be playing in a stadium that is also familiar territory for their opponents. This further reduces one of the main advantages UTA would normally have.
Corvinul have made a considerably more positive start to the campaign, recording a 2-2-1 record from their opening five matches. They have shown enough consistency to suggest they can compete with UTA, especially given the hosts current personnel problems.
Extra bet: Corvinul win @ 3.35
