Recap
Dobrudzha are facing a severe financial crisis that is increasingly affecting the team’s preparations and performances. Head coach Diyan Bozhilov has admitted that it is becoming progressively more difficult to maintain the players motivation during training sessions and matches amid the club’s ongoing financial problems.
The coach praised his players for continuing to give their best despite the circumstances, but painted a worrying picture of the situation, revealing that the club has been left without financial resources, bonuses or even a team doctor. Furthermore, travel and accommodation expenses have reportedly remained unpaid since the beginning of the summer. Bozhilov also confirmed that the club has yet to receive any financial assistance, with Dobrudzha currently hoping for support from the local municipality, although there is no clear indication of when such funding might arrive.
Ludogorets II have an excellent opportunity to take advantage of their opponents difficulties. With three points potentially enough to move them out of the relegation zone, the home side have strong motivation to secure a positive result.
