Loznica have been dealing with unnecessary pressure, which has contributed to some inexplicable dips in their performances. Nevertheless, they managed to restore confidence with an important 2-3 away victory over Jedinstvo in Ub. Loznica took the lead on three separate occasions and although the hosts managed to equalize twice, they ultimately ran out of time to find a third response.
One particularly encouraging development was the return of Pantić, who had somewhat disappeared from the spotlight in recent months. Coming on for the final 20 minutes, he marked his return with his first goal in 13 months. His performance was highly encouraging, as he showed considerable energy and determination.
Spartak Subotica have struggled to find consistency. After recording two consecutive victories, they suffered back-to-back defeats and have consequently lost ground on the teams at the top of the table. They currently appear to be going through a difficult spell, while coach Pavićević also has to contend with several players affected by injuries and illness, leaving the visitors below full strength.
Loznica have generally been a solid side on home soil and given their recent response, Spartak’s current struggles and the visitors’ personnel issues, the hosts have a good opportunity to secure a good result.
